Election 2014 is finally in the books, and there are obviously lots of important lessons to be gleaned — some painful and some encouraging — from the results. Please join us for a very special Crucial Conversation as NC Policy Watch Director Chris Fitzsimon discusses the election results, where things stand and what’s on the horizon for the progressive movement in North Carolina with three very knowledgeable experts:

Dan Blue III is a Raleigh lawyer, statewide political commentator and chair of the Wake County Democratic Party.

Tom Jensen is the director of the nationally recognized polling firm, Public Policy Polling, and one of the nation’s most widely respected and accurate pollsters.

Carol Teal is one of the state’s most knowledgeable political operatives and the executive director of Lillian’s List of North Carolina, a group dedicated to electing pro-choice, progressive women.

When: Wednesday, November 19, at noon — Box lunches will be available at 11:45 a.m.

Where: The North Carolina Association of Educators Building, 700 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27601

Space is limited – pre-registration required.
