Yes, in North Carolina and Florida the Republican party has tried to use the courts to SHUT DOWN early voting on time, rather then keep the polls open till everyone has voted. In both cases the governors kept it open though. So much for supporting Democracy.

VOTING EARLY is determined prior to any election. They can not and do not change the schedules. If challenged by either party the law will be upheld . Both parties have tried it . In person: • 34 states allow people to vote in person before Election Day. 31 don’t require an excuse; 3 states and the District of Columbia do. • 16 states do not allow early or in-person absentee voting. By mail: • 28 states allow no-excuse absentee voting by mail. • 22 states and the District of Columbia require an excuse to vote absentee by mail.

“No. I heard though that US postmen were throwing away absentee ballots that read Republican on them.” I had to respond to this. The notion that this is happening is ridiculous. Postmen have no way of knowing who the person is voting for….party affiliation is not indicated on the envelope that has an absentee ballot enclosed. And to the poster….yes, this is true in certain parts of the country.

No such attempt. You are just spreading rumors and innuendo to push an agenda. You should be ashamed of yourself for stooping to this. Oh, and for the record federal law states that employers have to allow time off to vote.

No but it is true that Democrats want to use early voting to help make it easier to violate election laws to get their candidate elected.

FYI, your employer has a legal responsibility to give you time to vote on election day.
