TROUTMAN, NC (WBTV) -
The Troutman Police Department has issued warrants for two subjects from the Bank of America bank robbery that occurred on May 20th.
With help from investigators in Charlotte, suspects by the name of Darius Freeman, 31, and Wincy Joseph, 28, were identified, according to a news release from the Troutman Police Department.
Warrants were obtained on the suspects for armed robbery, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
A concerned citizen in Charlotte provided the names of the suspects that lead to the warrants being issued.
Freeman has been arrested in South Carolina and is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
Joseph has not been arrested, but is believed to be in the Charlotte area.
Police ask if you see Wincy Joseph, to not approach him, but call 911 instead.
He is considered Armed and Dangerous.
