Why To They Say North Carolina Is A Decisive Win For Obama?

I don’t get it. He ONLY won because the blacks voted 91% for him and they make up 33% of the vote. He lost white men 53% and white women 64%. Had it not been for the blacks, he would not have won. This is bullcrap. I can’t stand how MSNBC keeps saying it’s a decisive win. They need to say why he won it or how and it was with blacks and nothing else. If North carolina was a mostly white state with small black populations, Hillary would have smoked him.

he won more than 200 votes. this why the same votes about hillary won in PA and for you to say its onl basid on black votes is dead wrong. yes they help but that was not the only group that help him.

Well… blacks are part of the electorate, aren’t they? I could flip your comment and say if Indiana weren’t so white, Obama would have smoked Clinton there.

So what you are saying is that blacks shouldn’t matter? Really nice. Hey, didn’t you say last week that Hillary was going to shock the world in NC? So….exactly how upset were you last night?

Dude, 14 points…is 14 points. In PA Clinton won the state’s “down scale” Whites in huge numbers…does that negate her 9 point win? Of course not. Obama 2008

Because it is. And saying that blacks voting for a black candidate is unfair when whites are voting for a white candidate makes no sense to me. Oh… and Bill Clinton won by +90% of the black vote.

So it is a race thing? I am black and I don’t vote for Barack cause of his skin color. We had a recent Senate race here in Maryland a black nominee named Michael Steele a republican, & a democrate white guy ran for this Senate seat. I voted for the white guy, cause the content of his message was better. I am sorry that Obama’s skin is not to your liking…sad excuse to making a choice. Kinda like the “Whites Only” signs of the 50’s & 60’s this time it could have catostrophic effects… Obama 08

The media is trying to vote the election for us. We all need to step back, take a look at the candidates and decide for ourselves. Be damned the media.

If. If. If. Well, you know if a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his @ss when he hopped! And if Indiana had more blacks, he would have smoked Clinton there. All registered voters counts–quit looking at color and look at pure numbers.

My great fear is that blacks are poorly educated in the south and are voting with their skin color rather than using their brains.

its decisive win because he won 56% to hillary’s 42%. Thats a 14 point win. anything by double digits is a decisive win. Yeah he had 91% of the black vote but what does it matter, you make it sound like black votes dont matter and the white vote is all that matters? A win is a win. By the way in North Carolina, Blacks make up about 22% of the population, while whites make up about 75% of the population. Its not like blacks out number the whites. Where as in Indiana Whites are 90% and black make up only 9%, yet clinton only squeaked out a 3 point win in Indiana. By the way Black make up nationwide about 25% of the population. So north Carolina is actually more representative of the demographics of the nation compared to Indiana. But either way I love the math clinton supporter try to use, so like a politician’s math. This number counts cause it works for us, but these number dont count, and that number shouldnt count so i wont count that, and this number is good for us so I’ll count that, got to love that clinton math.

And if my aunt had a male appendage she would be my uncle. As far as I know, a victory by 14-16 points is considered decisive, no matter how you cut it.
